Description

A flavorful wrap filled with tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and a sweet chili sauce that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Combine sweet chili sauce and soy sauce; pour half over chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet; cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Slice the Chicken: Let chicken rest and then slice into thin strips.
  5. Warm the Tortillas: Briefly warm tortillas until pliable.
  6. Assemble the Wraps: Place lettuce, chicken, carrots, cucumbers, and cilantro on each tortilla, drizzle with remaining sauce.
  7. Roll the Wraps: Fold sides of tortillas inward and roll from the bottom.
  8. Serve: Cut in half diagonally and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

Marinate the chicken a day in advance for deeper flavor. Can customize veggies based on season.
