Description
A savory blend of ground beef, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce served over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- If there’s excess fat in the skillet, drain it off to keep the dish from becoming greasy.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce, stirring for another 2-3 minutes to coat the beef.
- Serve the beef mixture over warm rice.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Notes
Customize with added vegetables like bell peppers or snow peas for extra crunch.
