Description

A savory blend of ground beef, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce served over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  2. If there’s excess fat in the skillet, drain it off to keep the dish from becoming greasy.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring for another 2-3 minutes to coat the beef.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over warm rice.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Notes

Customize with added vegetables like bell peppers or snow peas for extra crunch.
