Description

A hearty and comforting dish featuring sizzling steak bites and crispy roasted potatoes, infused with garlic and herbs.


Ingredients

  • lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 56 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden and fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak: Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and herbs. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet. Heat until shimmering and sear steak in a single layer for 2–3 minutes on each side.
  3. Add Garlic and Combine: Reduce heat to medium-low, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Return the roasted potatoes to the skillet and toss gently.
  4. Finish and Serve: Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Customize by adding fresh veggies or using different cuts of steak. Serve with a mixed green salad or garlic bread.
