- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Remove the beef and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, followed by minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet, mix thoroughly, and season with salt and pepper, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Marinate the beef ahead of time for deeper flavor and use leftover vegetables to reduce waste.
