Description

A vibrant and quick stir fry featuring tender beef and a rainbow of crisp vegetables, cooked to perfection in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Remove the beef and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, followed by minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, mix thoroughly, and season with salt and pepper, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

Marinate the beef ahead of time for deeper flavor and use leftover vegetables to reduce waste.
